This water is new to the Warrington Angler's portfolio for 2008. It is open for fishing now, and access to the water is strictly for members-only.
The pool was previously leased by another local angling club, who gave the water up, and hence we have taken it over in a state of some disrepair. Warrington AA intend to renovate this popular pool, tidying swims and remove the fallen trees.

This stillwater is located off Pool Lane, access from Star Lane, Statham, near Lymm. The water is a mature pool, surrounded by large trees. Depths range from 3-9 feet.
There is a wide variety of species present here. Good fishing for roach, perch, tench, crucians, carp, bream, pike and many other species. Large eels and stillwater barbel and chub can been caught here.
Fishing is from the platforms provided. Members should take care when approaching the platforms as some are unsafe. Best fishing is along the right bank (facing the pool from the road).
